This depends on a number of factors that are outlined below.
Type of products you are packing
Selection of a suitable machine depends on type of products you are trying to pack. For products that have bone you may also need Boneguard to prevent punctures via sharp objects.
Machines we may suggest for you are: -
If you are a small operator/business we may suggest one of our Foodvac Benchtop Models for small volume packing of products. For example our Foodvac 370 T or Foodvac 440 T Models.
If you are a small to medium type food producer, and are looking at packing hundreds-thousands of vacuum packed product on a weekly basis. We may suggest anywhere between our larger of the Benchtop model up to Free Standing Machines with a wider or bigger Chamber for bigger portions to be packed or for packing 6-8 items at a time for each process.
If you are a business who is looking to pack thousands and tens of thousands in a short period of time (ie week), we may suggest various types of commercial Double Chamber Vacuum Packaging Machines including our Webomatic Vacuum Machine range for heavy duty production.
Largest size bag or weighted pack you are looking to achieve
Because we can determine what size chamber and seal bar you require once you inform us this.
Production capacity of packs per hour/day
This will determine if you require a benchtop or a bigger model.

What is the difference between Vacuum Packing and Vacuum Packing with Gas Flush? |
| |
Straight vacuum packing involves the evacuation of air inside the bag & chamber as the bag is sealed via the seal bar. So there is up to 99.9% of oxygen taken out of the bag depending on the degree of determined vacuum setting you have.
Using the Gas Flush system on a model designed for the input of gas, the same evacuation of air within chamber and bag takes place , then an input of gas or gas mixture into the bag prior to sealing process. The result is the product will sit in a Modified Atmosphere Package with the gas mixture present. This can assist in a longer shelf-life.
